The Return To Monkey Island is an unexpected and thrilling return for series producer Ron Gilbert that continues the legend of the classic adventure game The Secret of Monkey Island as well as Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge created in partnership with Lucasfilm Games.

Guybrush Threepwood has been a longer time since he last in an intellectual battle with LeChuck the enemy from the world of zombies. The woman he loves most, Elaine Marley, has switched her attention away from the governing process and Guybrush himself is adrift and unfulfilled. He has never found what he believed to be the Secret of Monkey Island. The young, hip pirates, led by Captain Madison have thrown out the guards of the past. Melee Island is now unstable and Stan, a well-known businessman, has been sentenced to prison for “marketing-related violations”.
